Licensed insurance intermediaries are required to comply with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements stipulated by the Insurance Authority (IA). HKCAAVQ is appointed by IA as the CPD Assessment Authority responsible for the assessment of Type 1 Qualified CPD Activities, including Structured Activities and E-learning Activities. HKCAAVQ also provides services of vetting of Type 4 Qualified CPD Activities from QF accredited programmes and assessment of Specific Qualifications for Type 5 and Type 6 Qualified CPD Activities.
The objective of CPD Activities is to ensure that licensed insurance intermediaries continuously update their technical and regulatory knowledge and refresh themselves on the ethical standards for carrying on the regulated activities.

Application
Applications for Assessment and Vetting, including re-assessment/ re-vetting and change applications, should be submitted online via e-Portal. Application would only be accepted after all required documents and fee payment are received.
