HKCAAVQ hosted the third Roundtable of the year in hybrid mode at HKCAAVQ Theatre on 23 September 2024, with participants including HKCAAVQ’s Council Members, representative from the Qualifications Framework Secretariat and professional staff of HKCAAVQ.
Dr Michael Fung, one of our non-local Council Members, delivered a presentation titled “Developments in Higher Education and Lifelong Learning”. Through a compelling exploration of case studies from various countries, Dr Fung shared his insights and perspectives that took the participants through a journey of reflections on the impacts of lifelong learning and shaping of future education from individual and institutional to the broader implications for the educational system.
Following Dr Michael Fung’s insightful presentation, participants actively engaged in a lively Question-and-Answer session, fostering of a rich exchange of ideas and enhanced the overall learning experience.
As the event concluded, Dr Michael Fung was presented with a token of appreciation by Mr Albert Chow, Executive Director of HKCAAVQ, in recognition of his invaluable contributions.
