VIDEO PRODUCTION COMPETITION
The video production competition is one of the key events of the QR Promotion Campaign 2022.
Through the production of inspirational and creative short videos, students are encouraged to make good use of the QR to source for quality-assured qualifications of relevant profession or industry in accordance with their interests, abilities and orientations in order to map out their learning pathways.

Content
Using QR in planning study plans and lifelong learning
Category and Eligibility
- Secondary Category – For all current secondary school students in Hong Kong
- Tertiary Category – For all current students studying in post-secondary institutions in Hong Kong
Students can participate the competition either in individual or a team of no more than 3 members. Team members may come from the same or different school(s).
Requirements of Video Entries
All entries must meet the following requirements:

Others | Participants should provide a title and a brief description of no more than 150 characters in Chinese or 200 characters in English on the design or story of the video. |
Submission of Video Entries
Participants are required to fill in the online submission form to present their story and indicate the method of submitting the video, either online or by post:
Submit video online
- Select “Online” under “Video Submission Method” in the submission form.
- Fill in a Google Drive link for the location of the video.
Submit video by post
- Select “By Post” under “Video Submission Method” in the submission form.
- Submit the video in a CD/DVD-ROM labelled with participating category and name(s) of participant(s) as shown in the submission form and send to HKCAAVQ (10 Siu Sai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong) by post. Please mark “QFQR4U” on the envelope.
All entries must be submitted on or before 15 September 2022 at 23:59 (Hong Kong time). For entries sent by post, the submission date shall be based on the postmark. Late submissions will not be accepted.
*For Secondary Category, participants can submit their entries individually or via school.
Judging Criteria
The panel of adjudicators will assess the entries in accordance with the following criteria:
- Content (40%)
- Creativity (30%)
- Technical skills (30%)

Awards and Prizes
The panel of adjudicators will select a Champion, a First runner-up and a Second runner-up for each category. Entries with outstanding performance in creativity or storytelling will receive Merit Award. The prizes of each category are as follows:

All participants will be awarded with an e-Certificate of participation.
Terms and Conditions
- All information provided by the participants must be true and correct.
- Each individual participant / team can submit only one entry.
- Once submitted, the entry shall not be modified, replaced or returned.
- All entries must not contain materials that are illegal, obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, indecent, disparaging or any content that is controversial or inappropriate.
- All entries must be original work of the participants and have never been published. In addition, entries must not infringe the intellectual property rights, audio-visual copyrights, privacy rights or any other rights of other persons.
- HKCAAVQ reserves the right to use, modify, copy and publish the entries (including the personal particulars of the participants) in any form of media without seeking prior consent from the participants.
- In case of any disputes, all decisions made by the Panel of Adjudicators are final.
- HKCAAVQ reserves the right to request participants to present Hong Kong Identity Card (ID), student ID card or any other valid documents for verification purpose.
- All personal data provided will only be used for the purposes related to this competition and will be destroyed three months after the result announcement.
- HKCAAVQ reserves the right to make final decisions in all matters relating to the competition, including the terms and conditions, prizes and other arrangements.
- Participants are regarded to accept and agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions upon submitting the entries. Any violation of the terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the competition.
