The HKCAAVQ Roundtable 2023 was held in hybrid mode at the Theatre of HKCAAVQ office on 22 May 2023, the first session resumed since 2020.
During the presentation titled "Thematic Analysis and Related Issues," Professor Bjørn Stensaker, our non-local Council Member, covered topics including an overview of overseas accreditation agencies, his views on ways to add value to the sector of qualification assurance and potential areas for future development for the HKCAAVQ. Apart from virtual attendees, over 30 participants joined the session physically, including representative from Qualifications Framework Secretariat, Council Members and professional staff of HKCAAVQ.
The insightful presentation by Professor Stensaker was followed by a Question-and-Answer session. Attending guests actively participated in the Q&A session by raising points of discussion on the presentation, making analysis and exchanging their ideas.
At the conclusion of the event, Professor Stensaker was presented with a souvenir by Hon Rock Chen, SBS, JP, Chairman of HKCAAVQ, in recognition of his valuable contributions.
