The second HKCAAVQ Roundtable of the year was held in hybrid mode at the Theatre of HKCAAVQ office on 20 May 2024. Participants including HKCAAVQ’s Council Members, representatives from the Education Bureau and Qualifications Framework Secretariat, as well as professional staff of HKCAAVQ, joined this roundtable session.
Professor Youhansen EID, one of our non-local Council Members, delivered a presentation titled “Egypt’s Higher Education Landscape and Quality Assurance System” which included a case study of Nile University. It gave us an overview of the higher education landscape and the quality assurance system of Egypt and their respective development. Professor EID took questions from the audience after her informative presentation. Guests actively raised questions and exchanged ideas during the Question-and-Answer session.
As the event concluded, Professor EID was presented with a souvenir by Mr Albert Chow, Executive Director of HKCAAVQ, in recognition of her impressive contributions.
