The HKIAAC Accreditation Award Ceremony was held on 13 February 2025, celebrating the recognition of Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) for both the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (HKIAAC) and the ICAC’s Professional Diploma in Anti-Corruption. Mr Albert Chow, Executive Director of HKCAAVQ, presented the accreditation to the Commission during the ceremony. Mr Woo Ying-ming, ICAC Commissioner, acknowledged the significant achievement of the HKIAAC in attaining QF Level 5 accreditation in its inaugural year.
In his speech, Mr Albert Chow highlighted that both the HKIAAC and the ICAC’s induction course achieved QF Level 5 status upon their first accreditation application, and such accomplishment was unprecedented in the vocational and professional sectors, marking a remarkable milestone for the HKIAAC. He further emphasised that the ICAC has set a benchmark for international anti-corruption professionals. Mr Chow expressed HKCAAVQ’s enthusiasm for collaborating with the ICAC as a strategic partner in the future, aiming to advance integrity training not only locally but also on a national and global scale.
